Congratulations to Louis Regnacq, recipient of the 2025 French Open Science Thesis Award in the Pluridisciplinaire et transversale category!

Presented on 1 December at ANDOR 2025, the award honours his doctoral work on selective peripheral nerve stimulation. Louis combined neural engineering with reusable research tools, contributing to the NRV simulation framework and open instrumentation for impedance measurements.

He defended his PhD in September 2023 at CY Cergy Paris Université, following work at ETIS and IMS supervised by Olivier Romain, Yannick Bornat and myself. It is a pleasure to see this commitment to sharing research recognised.
